How do I set the clock or the current time?

Turn the MENU / TIME / WEIGHT dial to the ‘Clock’ position, then set the hour and minute.

Why does the appliance switch off after the pizza programme (e.g. 1 minute 30 seconds)?

The pizza programme is set as the default programme. Once the default time has elapsed, the programme stops automatically. If the food is not yet ready, you will need to manually select a longer time or a different power setting.

Can I reheat bread rolls in this microwave?

There is no specific programme for bread rolls.

How can I turn off the beep?

The sound can be turned off using the STOP/CANCEL button. It is not possible to turn it off permanently.

The appliance isn't heating up – what should I do?

A common reason: the door is not closed properly. In this case, the appliance will remain switched off.
Check that the door seals and the hinge are in good condition.
In rare cases, an internal component such as the magnetron, fuse or waveguide may be faulty - this would then need to be checked by a qualified technician.
It is also possible that the mica (waveguide) plate has come loose (this distributes the microwaves). If this plate is damaged, the appliance must not be used.

Why doesn't the microwave start when I press “Start”?

The most likely reason is that the door isn’t fully closed. In this case, the Start button won’t respond. Try opening the door and closing it firmly, then press ‘Start’ again.

Can I use the appliance if the turntable isn't working?

The turntable ensures even heat distribution. If it is not working, the food will be heated unevenly. In practice, it is recommended that you do not continue to use the appliance with a faulty turntable and that you have it repaired or replaced.
